
Achonwa Joins Lilly Women’s College All-Star Coaching Staff
TAMPA (April 5, 2025) – Former Notre Dame All-American, eight-year WNBA veteran and Canadian National Team star Natalie Achonwa will join the Team Miller coaching staff for Saturday’s Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game.
Achonwa and head coach Cheryl Miller will lead a collection of 10 talented collegiate stars in the annual showcase even, and will go up against Nancy Lieberman, Ann Meyers Drysdale and Cynthia Cooper-Dyke and Team Lieberman.
Achonwa, who was on the broadcast team for the 2024 contest in Cleveland, was an All-American for Notre Dame and helped the Irish to four straight Final Four appearances and three berths in the national championship game. An eight-year professional and Canadian National Team member, Achonwa is currently an assistant coach at Michigan.
In addition to the event’s title partner, Eli Lilly and Company, national brands have committed to the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game, enhancing the player and fan experience. Herbalife, State Farm, Skechers, Under Armour, E*TRADE and Nutrafol will be featured throughout the event.
The McLendon Foundation is a strategic partner also involved in the event. Its mission is to create access and opportunities for historically excluded talent who aspire to impact the sports industry. McLendon, who spent nearly 30 years in coaching, concluded his college coaching career at Cleveland State, the site of the 2024 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game.
